NDA Charity Helps Young Mother Build Her Dream

Comfort’s story first gained public attention when a video of her visit to a radio station went viral.

Shortly after, she joined one of our TikTok live streams, where we had an in-depth conversation about her struggles. During our discussion, she shared that she had a child with someone who was denying her access to the child.

Additionally, she revealed that she was unemployed and in need of support to build a sustainable future.

NDA Charity took action by enrolling her in a one-year apprenticeship program in nails and makeup at Ohenewaa Nails & Makeup Studio, located in Nanakrom, Ashaley Botwe, Accra.

To ensure she could focus on her training without financial strain, we also provided her with a monthly stipend of 900 GHC to cover transportation costs.

Since the start of her apprenticeship, Comfort has shown remarkable dedication and progress in her craft. Our team has closely monitored her journey, and we are pleased to see her excelling in her training.

With just a few months left until the completion of her program, we remain committed to supporting her as she works towards becoming self-sufficient.

NDA Charity is proud to be part of Comfort’s journey to independence, and we look forward to seeing her thrive in her new career.
