Two years ago, NDA Charity received a heartbreaking request for help.
Madam Paulina, a single mother of five children—including two sets of twins—was seriously ill and had nowhere to live.
She and her children were sleeping in someone’s kitchen, struggling to survive.
NDA Charity stepped in to help. We found a decent home for them and paid two years’ rent in advance.
We enrolled all five children in school so they could have a better future.
To support Madam Paulina, we also gave her 5,000GH₵ to start a small business.
Since then, NDA Charity has continued to pay for the children’s school fees.
When I recently visited them in Bortianor, I was happy to see that the children are still in school and doing well.
But they still need more help to stay in school, and their mother needs more support to become fully independent.
Madam Paulina is trying her best, but she needs a stable income to take care of her family.
With more support, we can make sure her children continue their education and help her build a better future for them.
