Mr. Yankson, a resident of Agona Nyakrom, recently faced a life-altering challenge when he was diagnosed with advanced glaucoma.

During a free health screening organized by NDA Charity on January 8th at the Nyakrom Community Centre, Mr. Yankson’s critical condition was identified.
NDA Charity, in collaboration with the Agona Swedru Government Hospital, ensured that he received a comprehensive eye examination. The results were alarming, prompting an urgent referral to Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in Tesano, Accra.
NDA Charity took swift action, providing the necessary support for Mr. Yankson to receive specialized care. He underwent a crucial eye surgery aimed at preserving his remaining vision. Thanks to this intervention, he is currently recovering and showing significant improvement.
